A Tasteful Pop-Up Comes to Kluuvikatu – Kämp Introduces a New Kind of Dining Experience

In September, Hotel Kämp is introducing a completely new restaurant concept that breaks new boundaries. The Notes by Kämp pop-up restaurant will give guests a sneak preview of what the future Kämp might look and feel like.

Hotel Kämp's refurbishment project is moving forward with the opening of a new pop-up restaurant, Notes by Kämp, on Friday, September 6th at Hotel Kämp, offering approachable food in a new, relaxed atmosphere. This temporary dining experience will be open until next summer on Kluuvikatu, next to the main entrance of the hotel. Notes by Kämp will offer culinary experiences for hotel guests and city dwellers alike, as Hotel Kämp's entire restaurant, bar and lounge offerings will move to a new pop-up during the refurbishment project.

Notes by Kämp – Something Old, Something New

The restaurant's concept intertwines stories from the past with experiences of the present.

- The idea behind the concept came from the desire to offer something truly special and distinct from the hotel’s traditional offerings – a place where food, cocktails, music, and atmosphere merge to create a symphony for the senses for our guests. This also gives us the opportunity to experiment with different themes and menus, which we might include in our renewed hotel. Additionally, it creates an opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele and gather valuable feedback for the refurbishment project, says Hotel Kämp’s General Manager, Tuomas Liewendahl.

The Notes by Kämp concept was inspired by composers who have created masterpieces in the hotel, by writers whose stories are the result of numerous notes taken in the Kämp, and by those who have celebrated remarkable moments in their lives there.

A Modern, Flexible, and Approachable Restaurant and Bar

The restaurant's menu has been carefully curated and divided into five bold flavor profiles: smoky, fresh, classic, spicy, and sweet. Playful cocktails and shareable dishes are complemented by impeccable service. Each flavor category offers a culinary adventure that caters to different tastes and preferences. The focus is on vegetarian and fish dishes, offering interesting alternatives to meat.

Weekends will be enlivened by live music, enhancing the restaurant experience. Live music will be provided by Notes by Kämp’s own stylish and elegant house band, The Notes Men, who create a unique and distinctive atmosphere by playing well-known hit songs.

- Although the current focus is on providing an unforgettable pop-up experience, we hope to find elements in Notes by Kämp that we can incorporate into the renewed Hotel Kämp. Right now, we’re excited to see how the pop-up restaurant will be received and how our concept will evolve. We believe we’ll gather valuable feedback for our future plans, Liewendahl adds.
