Hotel Kämp has a storied history as Helsinki’s premier social and dining hub. Restaurant À La Kämp weaves together contemporary influences with authentic dishes from the archival menus of Hotel Kämp, some dating back more than a century. Kämp Bar, no stranger to a good story either, is known for hand-crafted cocktails and a deep affection for champagne. Kämp Delicatessen transforms from a neighborhood deli by day into an intimate wine bar by night.

The Story So Far
Hotel Kämp is Helsinki's most historic hotel, but it's always been ahead of its time. Opened in 1887 as Finland's first European-style grand hotel, it introduced the city to elevators, moving pictures, and a taste for eating out — and quickly became the place where the city's artists, business leaders, and politicians gathered. It played a real part in turning Helsinki into the cosmopolitan capital it is today. That's still what Kämp does best: it is and always has been a place to gather, to explore, and simply to be merry.
